At Anzie Blue, we believe music changes people— and people change the world.

That belief led us to build a venue when independent music spaces were disappearing. Anzie Blue Venue became proof that there is still a hunger for live music that feels personal, present, and human.

In 2026, Anzie Blue Records was launched as a natural extension of that mission.

We built a label so artists wouldn’t have to build one themselves. In partnership with UnitedMasters, we support artists with the tools, distribution, and freedom to grow on their own terms. In an industry crowded with noise, we choose intention. We choose artists. We exist to create space—for music to be heard, for careers to grow, and for artists to make meaningful work without losing themselves in the process.

  • Derek Van Mol

    CEO/ FOUNDER

    Derek Van Mol is the Founder & CEO of Anzie Blue Records. He brings entrepreneurial leadership and creative strategy to the music and lifestyle space. Based in Nashville and Hermosa Beach, he combines his background in business and brand building to grow culture-driven ventures and support artist-centric development.

  • Marcie Allen Van Mol

    HEAD OF BRAND PARTNERSHIPS/ FOUNDER

    Marcie Allen is the Head of Brand Partnerships at MAC Presents and a founder with deep expertise in building strategic alliances between artists, brands, and cultural platforms. With a proven track record of connecting creative talent to impactful brand opportunities, she brings both visionary leadership and relationship-driven strategy to every partnership.

  • Leslie Fram

    HEAD OF A&R

    Leslie Fram brings decades of music industry leadership and artist development expertise to Anzie Blue as Head of A&R. As the founder of FEMco and a longtime champion of emerging talent, she strengthens AB’s artist-first mission by identifying and nurturing the next generation of culturally impactful artists.

  • Ayappa Ponnappa Biddanda

    HEAD OF MARKETING

    Ayappa Biddanda is an award-winning marketing executive and Founder/CEO of Shiva Sounds, bringing over two decades of experience in artist development, brand strategy, and cultural programming after a 22-year tenure at Concord. Ayappa serves on the Board of Directors for Folk Alliance International and leads marketing at Anzie Blue with a deep commitment to artist-first strategy and creative growth
